Topic: Have you ever been forced to dance?

Not Denmark guy !jJEom8Ii3E started this discussion 10 years ago #52,399

When I was a kid, every morning on Wednesday i would have to show up 8 am in a dance class for 40 minutes.

It was terrible and really painful.

So are you telling me you do not like girls. Holding their hand. Looking into their eyes. Hand on shoulder or waist. Close tight hugs.
You telling me there was not a single moment when there was a good moment?

Not a single damn moment there was good. I hated how all the other boys would rush to be the first ones to ask the same three girls for a dance as each lesson would start.

I'm supposed to like it because some wannabe princess is close to me for a while? Pff.

Well sure no one wants to be forced to do anything.

Now as grown ups -
> I'm supposed to like it because some wannabe princess is close to me for a while? Pff.

Because I dance a lot. 1000's of partners - I fully admit its still a thrill for me to ask some wannabe princess for a dance and have her smile as large a smile as is possible. To have her jump into my arms as she leaps up from the chair or even standing into my arms for a hug at the very begging of the dance. Huge hugs at the end of that one dance - Even asking me if we can do another.

Later at some other event she might come up to me and say "Remember when we last danced?" I probably will not remember if its been a few months or years - Happens to me all the time. I say to self How the fuck could I forget such a Lovely Princess? Happens so often - However you can be sure I am totally honest with her and we dance another dance.

Still shocked I actually get kisses on the cheek or on rare occasions from perfect new gals at a dance- ON THE LIPS

I have multiple times ended up in relationships really really good relationships with all the fringe benefits. None that really ended all that bad - Sure its never easy to run into them at first after a break up at the next dance - Hummmm ok yes I still feel bad about a few when It was time to say - Its just not working out for me any longer.

Well that is my story and I am sticking with it- If you can tell me another way one can in seconds walk up to a perfect stranger that one selects in a room and asks her to hold your hand and even get real close and she smiles when you do ask - Tell me please LoL

Tonight I again get to test this theory out - Yep I have GF's and they are totally ok with all of this nor did we meet this way.

Good question. For one its a Social connection. A way to meet new people and make new friends. For instance. When Qualcomm SD talked me into working for them, I was living in Santa Monica. They offered of course to move me down at all costs and put me up in a nice Hotel - Friends I made from Jitterbug/Cajun/Blues/ Dancing said NO Way you going to stay in Hotel - One gal had a spare room and she was a terrific Cajun cook and invited me to stay with her - Just good friends -

Social connections - AND Do YOU Exercise? Do You No about need to move oxygenated Blood through your arteries? Have you heard of Runners High? Endorphin's?

Or even how the sweet aroma from Her Body when held close in a Slow Dance can just make a Guy feel good. So it can be Aerobic life Saving exercise which produces multiple Highs that are totally natural.

If one goes to a dance alone one makes friends - Male and Female - People are happy and smile all the time - People say Hey dance is over lets go out for Pancakes just to remain social - Last night it was way to much to eat and drink and drink after a dance -

Festivals people come from all over the world to our festivals.

Could rite a book about the fun of Hold me close Tiny Dancer.

Oh and Dancers almost never Smoke Cigs and its rare they dance and drink more than one drink during the night EXCEPT After the dance.

One time I was in a saloon and 3 guys walked in with guns. One of the guys pointed a gun at my feet and forced me to dance, so I did the Michael Jackson moonwalk and sent a bucket full of tobacco spit over his head.

No he ended up lassoing a rope around him and dragged him around town until he tried to lynch him in front of the town in front of the clock tower. The crazy ass blacksmith who just showed up one day ended up shooting him down with this fancy mancy rifle.
