Topic: Last night I spent a while thinking about this joke I heard on mission hill when I was like 10

so the protagonist is a comic writer or something and in one episode he writes a comic where, iirc, a guy is at a deli counter saying 'thats so Kafkaesque' and I guess the joke was, in the fictional strip, that nothing was Kafkaesque about the situation and the joke for the real life audience was that the comic wasn't funny but I felt like in retrospect it was a funny joke in the show and it got me thinking about how long the word Kafkaesque has been played out and why it became that way
But then this morning I woke up and I saw a guardian editorial titled 'Kafkaesque: a word so overused it has lost all meaning?' spurred by that Han Kang book what just been lauded
But I don't know why I was thinking about mission hill to begin with
I don't even like that show
But that is my coincidence of the day thanks for watching

Regardless, you're keyed in to notice this more now, so maybe the synchronicities will continue until it becomes kafkaesque.
Without really getting into semiotics, saying something has lost all meaning should be unnecessary if it's truly meaningless, but you know, w/e. It's strange all the same.

Well, meme has lost all meaning but some people seem to think it's still useful.
