Self-care, which is another form of social justice, is reminding yourself that you don’t have to be the perfect social justice activist - whom is always able to use the right language and be passionately engaged all the time - everyone else wants you to be! Authentic, meaningful social justice makes room for the access needs of people with disabilities that impair cognition, communication, and social engagement! People grow and learn in different ways and at different paces, and that’s ok! In fact, that’s great! It makes the social justice community stronger and more diverse because we’re bringing diverse perspectives to the table! Thanks.
