aye I prefer a taco truck in Cardiff by the sea C see that serves real REAL mexican cusine. the cook at the truck i know from when i helped santa anna win mexico and 1 other whoo was advising stragems at the battle of pebbles. we celebrated after the treateys of guacamole hidalgo with sweet shrimpy burritos in saucce and cilantro by swing dancing around sombrero hats.
That taco truck makes best mexico cusine because it is authetic!! people were there to witness ACTUAL food and CAN cook it!

I have not had tyme to verify this but according to something I read today it was Taco Bell that invented the fried hard shell for tacos.
OK I hit my sentence and hit Google
Glen Bell, the founder of Taco Bell, who made them popular. He started the chain in Southern California, inspired by the fast food of McDonald's, which was founded around the same time.
Bell, in search of the taco version of the McDonald's hamburger, invented the preformed taco shell. It was so popular, Tex-Mex restaurants began frying their own taco shells, clipping tortillas to a bent coffee can and frying them in oil. And from there, the crispy yellow shell swept the nation.
On very rare occasions when out and about I have tried Taco Bell and Del Taco - Been decades since I have tasted the Taco Bell AND I think what I disliked the most was the packet of taco sauce to heat it up - So on occasions I do hit Del Taco for couple of 3 - Fully admit I like the Crunch - I do wonder what I might be like to have quality meat inside and real cheese instead of that plastic stuff.
Last year in a rush I needed a quick bite and I tried a Jack in the Box Taco - All deeeeeep fried and just DISGUSTING Totally Horrid Disgusting - One bite and I tossed it in trash.
