That sounds a little crazy actually. I am really sorry about that but they shouldn't freak out on you like that. I got misgendered at work a lot by one guy and I just sat the guy down at work and explained what I was doing and he totally understood. I didn't flip out, I didn't get angry, I just didn't like being called sir anymore and he was cool about it. I think that is the proper way to go about it, not being a prick about it.
Getting your breasts removed after two months is a bit crazy to me IMO. It took me a year to accept myself.

I got properly misgendered once. Guy said "You can let her go first" and my stomach was full of butterflies. It was amazing. He looked at me for a really long time too trying to decide.
I also came out to another one of my friends last night, He kept saying "You're fucking with me" over and over but finally accepted this is who I am and realized my face and body have changed since he last saw me.
