One time I think a spider got stuck in my underwear while I was sleeping and i got many bites in my underwear zone
one time my friend got a bark scorpion in his tent while we were camping but he must have crushed it in his sleep and he found it dead the next day under his sleeping bag no bites but whew that was a close one

Working in my Garden. I do not have a clue what kind of insect bit me. Was not aware of a bite at that time. Hours later the hand swelled to double its size. Doc looked and said it will shrink - payed $75 and his costly words worked.

Most discomforting insect interaction, was a yellow jacket sting. It's like a numbing/burning pain, that's more annoying than painful. It last for like 2 or 3 hours.
I've been around worse, though. I've saved tarantula hawks from pools, but they aren't dicks like yellow jackets.

I have lived a lot of years. Lots of bees flying around me. Hornets - Wasps on a hike. Never minded and figured they knew I meant no harm. One year ago a neighbor said hey you have a bee on your neck. I said no problem they never sting - I made no movement and that bee stung and it hurt. Called exterminators and had hive in eves removed. Wish I were aware of a group of people that come out for free and remove and relocate hives. Feel guilty about killing quality bees.

Mosquitoes never happen where I live because there is always a sea breeze. I notice when I am out hiking its the same. Them critters do not have any wing power to fight a slight breeze. Of course out and about when breeze dies then its a problem. Here at my Ocean a Blue and its a small bluff I live on above the Ocean a Blue - uplifting currents keep air moving more rapidly than critters can deal with. Bees no problem with that wing power.

I know what you mean, bees are usually very docile. It absolutely sucks that you had no choice but to exterminate them. You don't want bees in a place people could get stung on your property, though. Someone might sue.

Little bastard got me somewhere on my body. Ended up getting sick, couldn't keep any food or liquid in my body, either puked it back up or shitting it out.
Ended up causing me to become dehydrated. When I hiked back into town, I passed out twice, the second time, someone called 911, next thing I knew, I was being loaded into an ambulance.
Several days later, they figured out the deer tick had given me Lyme Disease. Put me on antibiotics to get rid of it.

I was bitten by a brown recluse spider about 8 years ago. Thought it was just a normal spider bite which was common in my line of work. I put off going to the doctor until it had swelled to the size of a lemon. It was on my side just above the belt line. It was so painful that even my shirt rubbing against it was agonizing. I finally gave in and got it checked out. After a couple of shots they gave me a local anesthetic and opened it up. I actually heard the doctor make a sound of disgust when it started draining. I had to keep the wound open for 5 days and go back to get around 4 feet of gauze tape yanked out like a lawnmower cord. The flesh went necrotic and turned black. I still have a dime sized purple spot from the encounter. Good times.
