Like has anyone who is suicidal purposely become a vigilante in hopes of being killed while saving some stranger they don't know? It probably costs over $20 though.

I'd throw myself in front of a bullet to save someone. I wouldn't go out of my way to find such situations, but if one presented itself, I'd take it.

I would do that for a girlfriend - even one of several important ex's. At least one I would stand my ground and let the bullet go where it was intended to go.

Not just anyone, but pretty much. Like, a drug dealer can go to hell I don't care, but if someone pulled out a gun in store or something I'd step in front of someone.

If they were going to vote for Trump, they'd probably pull out their cc and shoot the first guy who pulled a gun.
Unless they're wearing giant wireframe glasses with long greasy hair and a half-cocked grin, I wouldn't know if they're a pedo, so I don't really have an opportunity to regret my decision. I mean, even people we know really well could turn out to be pedos too. It's a risk we take when associating with anyone.

Then you are a better person then I. As a kiddlet with a job in a liquor store WE were robbed 9 times in as many months. The owner was also a high school history teacher by day and not once did I consider putting my body in front of him to take a bullet. Terrific boss considering I was just a clerk and he even gave out a nice Christmas bonus and said no to delivery of booze when he felt I might be at risk in a dicey hood. Still NOT once did it cross my mind to push him aside and stand in front for the bullet. No not one time did anyone fire but several times the thief hand was shaking something horrid so it was often really dicey.
