Yeah that doesn't surprise me. My heater was on the fritz and it took them over two weeks to fix it in the middle of December. Luckily this was a very warm December, but still. I am convinced everyone in real estate is scummy and/or incompetent. At least you will have internet allegedly by the end of today.
