I heard Hitler went insane on drugs at one point. Can't have leaders on drugs.

Because of Soviet and American involvement. Also many strategic blunders by Hitler and the Nazis. I still think it's weird that we went to war in Europe to "free" Poland and Czechoslovakia, and then after the war handed them over lock stock and barrel to Stalin. Talk about out of the frying pan, into the fire!

Nazi's also used a lot of resources to stamp out Homos and Jews and anyone else that was not of pure 100% white. Using resources that are not essential during times of war is just not so much so good.

If you take out the racial stuff, there's not much difference between Nazism and FDR's economic policy. Americans spent resources locking up Japanese in concentration camps and I shudder to think what would have happened to them if America lost the war.

Yes the USA concentration camps are a most excellent example of USA spending resources as unneeded. All with USA Supreme court ok. Ripping off houses and land is pure theft.
I was going to do this in the Trump topic - But why not do it here.
Naw let me find the Trump thread.

try fending off the armies of two superpowers at once with your teeny tiny little country stretched thin and worn out from already conquering the entirety of europe and then talk some shit why dontcha.

That's not quite accurate. Hitler wasn't alone against the Allies, he had allies.

I literally groaned while reading that.
The internment of tens of thousands of innocent people on the basis of their nationality is immoral. It's also not at all comparable to the ghettoization and eventual extermination of millions of people.

The Japanese would have invaded and freed them? Or are you insinuating that the American government would try to kill all of the Japanese prisoners before falling?

FDR didn't want to kill the Japanese, true, but they were still stripped of their civil rights and rounded up and put in concentration camps for the duration of the war.
Yes, it's not comparable to the Holocaust but it is, I think, similar (in the same way a house cat is similar to a tiger).

I mean it was based on a Keynesian effort to recover from the Great Depression by public works spending and a "New Deal". The US had the Civilian Conservation Corps and Germany had the Reich Labor Service. Not to mention massive public works like the Autobahn.
I'm just saying - as far as economic policy was concerned - Mussolini, Hitler, and Roosevelt were all more or less on the same page.
I don't agree with Fascism or Nazism, neither in America nor Europe, I'm just pointing out some similarities.

According to various contributors to this board, the holocaust never occurred, it was just a post-war fiction created by the Jews and their sympathizers.

lol and according to many contributors of this board, they were born male and that is just in error because it never happened and we all are supposed to call them female.

The Japanese were actually very tough m8s. They did not fight alongside their German allies a lot but they were another fire that the allies had to put out.
Hitler's dark spirit allies were also nearly a strong factor in things. Although I might be thinking of Return to Csstle Wolfenstein.

Other people have suggested that Hitler was straight edge, but we know he was heavily medicated. Still he kickstarted conservation and animal rights, so eh, this Hitler doesn't sound like such a bad guy.
