Because of Soviet and American involvement. Also many strategic blunders by Hitler and the Nazis. I still think it's weird that we went to war in Europe to "free" Poland and Czechoslovakia, and then after the war handed them over lock stock and barrel to Stalin. Nazi's also used a lot of resources to stamp out Homos and Jews and anyone else that was not of pure 100% white. Using resources that are not essential during times of war is just not so much so good.

If you take out the racial stuff, there's not much difference between Nazism and FDR's economic policy. Americans spent resources locking up Japanese in concentration camps and I shudder to think what would have happened to them if America lost the war.

Yes the USA concentration camps are a most excellent example of USA spending resources as unneeded. All with USA Supreme court ok. Ripping off houses and land is pure theft.
