If Heaven is reserved for the 144,000. This means that there is no more vacancies left in the Kingdom of Jesus the Jew. This officially means that unless there are policy changes then we're all hellbound. This also means that Hell has an even larger population of souls than there are humans on planet Earth.

So Cheer Up!

*There are

Second, a Jehovah's Witness explained it to me. There are only 144,000 seats in heaven, but the rest of God's followers get to live on a perfect earth (restored to Garden of Eden standards). Those who turn away from God are annihilated. Think of it like First class vs. business class. Not quite as nice, but still pretty swank.

So what happens when those seats are filled? Who is the unlucky asshole who has to take a downgrade.

Annihilated as in erased from existence?

There's 144,000 first class seats, and unlimited business class seats. @previous (A) Yes. God just deletes them.

Yes but what about the people that are already there? Or is it like everybody who has died is waiting in line for humanity to end?

Oh? The currently dead people? God revives them at the end and sorts them out. They go to sleep and wake up either in heaven or they never wake up because they got deleted.

This makes me wonder if there is some way to delete God.

@previous (Metæ)
Sounds a lot like atheism.

That clears up all the confusion. So it is sort of like a line.
