A growing number of nonwhites are boycotting marvel movies. Of course it'll still make tons of money, but it's great that people are not worshipping the racists of marvel.
Ancient1 was whitewashed from Asian male to white woman. It's racist and it's quite the metaphor for hollywood. The ancient1 is 1 of the most powerful beings from marvel, and of course hollywood wouldn't give that role to an Asian man. A most powerful role must go to someone white. Marvel's racist to Asians/Asian americans.
Marvel pushed back its African american leading man Black Panther's movie for a 3rd white spiderman franchise. Whiteness must take precedence. A 3rd white spiderman franchise is more significant than Marvel finally having a nonwhite lead a movie. Marvel's racist to black people and African americans.
Marvel built a theme park in dubai, where nonwhite lgbts are killed. Marvel threatened to boycott atlanta for their anti lgbt stances, hollywood/marvel is pressuring NC and Mississippi for their anti lgbt stances and hollywood/marvel boycotted Indiana for a wedding cake. But marvel is taking money from dubai because nonwhite lgbts are being killed, while the lgbts affected by NC, Mississippi, indiana and Atlanta are majority white lgbts. Marvel's racist to nonwhite lgbts.
Marvel moved captain marvel for spiderman. Of course marvel prioritizes a white man and pushes back their white woman movie. And of course marvel's woman movie must be centered on a white woman. While marvel's nonwhite leading lady must be painted green. Marvel's racist to nonwhite women.

LOL, good one. But there really is a growing backlash to marvel's racism. George takei recently spoke against the whitewashing and casting of tilda swinton.

Even if Baron Mordo and Ben Urich's races are now nonwhite, majority of the leading and supporting roles still go to white actors. White representation isn't being impacted severely, unlike nonwhite representation. White people are not oppressed because those characters are now nonwhite. White people are still overrepresented.
The Ancient 1 would have been a major representation for Asians/Asian americans. But marvel's racist and I'm glad the backlash is continuing against them.

I think you should cast an actor based on their skills rather than their skin colour. If whatsherface is the best actor for the role then I don't have any problems with casting her, just like how no one cares that Samuel L. Jackson plays Frost.
Also apparently they chose her instead of a Tibetan actor because they don't want to alienate China. I think they could have also just made a Chinese version of the film where the character isn't Tibetan but Chinese or something but whatever.

But like in Hollywood you're not going to fire tilda swinton and hire a no name Nepalese actor
Just because thats not what Hollywood do
even tho it feels like people are sick of everything coming out of Hollywood
Good thing I don't give a shit about movies

No, George Takei is the kid who played Ender on Deep Space 9 who was the space prodigy that left with the traveller after Old Ben Kenobi took him under his wing.
