I did know him since we were kids, but not as well as it may have seemed. The truth is, he was a guy who kept his personal life to himself. We lived 2 hours away from each other when we were doing the podcast. We hung out at my house about once a month and talked on the phone regularly until I moved to Oregon. He came out and visited me right after I moved and we spent a couple of days getting high and roaming around Portland with Reid. Not long after that I saw shit imploding on here and other forums and took an extended leave of absence. I haven't seen him since he was here, and I talk to him maybe once a year. Regardless of all the shit, we just grew apart as adults. And I do have a few of the episodes somewhere on a flash drive. Haven't listened to it since we stopped doing it. I always loved podcasting, even if we were just fucking around.

I'll let you in on another secret. I was married the whole time we did the podcast. She's an awesome chick. We tried for a child a few years back and had some bad luck so didn't try again until last October. I think that both of us getting healthier helped. I haven't had a drink in nearly five years now. One thing that was never exaggerated was how much of a drunk I was. We both got in great shape and stayed eating healthy and giving up our toxic vices. She's a group fitness instructor at a gym. Of course she's on a break because she's pregnant at the moment. The baby's name is Henry btw.

My fitness pal. Count all of your calories. It is slow progress but it really works. I was 370 before, I was fucking massive but I lost a lot. Don't get me wrong I still have a long ways to go but It is so nice being a healthier weight for once. I weighed as much now as I did when I was like 13. I plan on losing the rest doing keto over the summer.

It was hard, but you know that. I tell other fat people that I was fat my entire life. yet I was still able to do this and I really didn't have to change too many habits. It is mind over matter and that is all anything in life takes is just the desire to do it and the self motivation to push yourself through tomorrow. I am glad you were able to lose the weight you did, I bet you feel 100x different.

You get how I feel. After I lost the weight my life changed for the better. For once i feel happy and I feel comfortable in my own body, transition helped for sure but losing the weight was a huge step for me.
