Do you have access to a deep fryer or a skillet full of oil?
Get a bowl and mix flour, garlic, salt, pepper, and some cayenne pepper (or you can just use a Cajun seasoning like Tony Chachere's). Taste the mix and add seasoning to taste.
Get the fryer heated to 375 degrees.
Get another bowl and crack an egg into it, whisk the egg until it's all mixed up. Get your mushrooms and slice them. Dip the mushroom slices into the egg and then into the flour mix. Repeat and then put the mushrooms in the fryer for about 3-4 minites, put on a paper towel to drain, and serve.

I don't like restaurants :/ it's much more fulfilling to cook and eat at home.

So you want to eat food, that was made and prepared for you, not knowing if these people washed their hands, if they sanitized their equipment, or even if they dropped one of your mushrooms on the dirty, greasy floor, and just picked it up and either put it on your plate or in the fryer?
Enjoy!

But knowing how to make stuff like that is useful
