And you are stuck this way for the rest of your life. How do you live? Do you forsee any issues with being the opposite sex? What is your first day like?

I would be miserable. I'd have gender dysphoria, large parts of my socialization would be useless or harmful, and I'd be on the wrong side of the patriarchy.
Having a trait I can blame my professional failures on and being able to adopt that smarmy-faux-academic-agitated-liberal-in-2016 tone while regurgitating things I read in the Atlantic to white guys who know more than me would be decent consolation prizes.

Thanks for that mark. Males can have multiple orgasms too.
I told a class of full of introverted freshmen that when I was lecturing on sexuality; one churchy girl came up afterwards and demanded a source for the information. When I told her it was from my experiences she flushed a ridiculous red and didn't utter another word for the rest of the course except for muttered thank yous when she turned in exams.

It's pretty good. The battery life is less than I want it to be, and it can get a little hot when charging. Also for some reason my camera is out of whack and only takes blurry photos. All that being said, I have unintentionally dropped my phone about eight hundred times, and while it is scuffed up pretty good, it has never cracked or broken. The buttons on the back took a week or so to get used to but I have no issues with them now. Overall I'd say 8/10 phone. How do you like it?

Honestly just trying over and over again. Therr are tricks like putting a piece of white paper behind the hole so it is easier to see, and also making sure that the end of thr thread isnt too frayed, but it is just trial and error at the end of the day. Screwing in small screws is pretty tricky. Most things that require precision and dexterity on a small scale are more difficult than they should be, but there are few things that I'd say I can't do in practice. I just need a lot of patience. You small-fingered folk have all the luck!

My hair has changed, my breasts have changed, my voice has changed. You are so uneducated when it comes to transgender people yet you insult us and call us trannies every chance you get. It is disgusting. 100 years ago someone your gender wouldn't have even been allowed to fucking vote. I would figure an XX woman would be more understanding of the struggles that someone who is trans is going through but I guess if it doesn't fit into your narrow world view then they deserve to be disrespected.

I was asking about your scenario, not your actual body. Jesus Christ.
Also yes more males have square jaws, and are taller, and have bigger hands. Those are facts.

Now now calm down. kook is something you can never be. A real woman. She does not have to work at it. You on the other hand have to end up sliced and diced. Bondo of sorts (should give away who I B)
Docs have to chop you up- Drill holes in you. Attempt to remanufacture you. You have so much anger. You should get a room with Autphag and end up in a relationship because the two of you are so similar. He just uses bigger words than you do.

I am trying to show you that all of these things change and are due to the hormones you have in your system at the time. Much of how your body looks is due in big part to what hormone you have in your system at the time.
Yes, they do. Much of this is due to the effects of testosterone on bone structure. But there are just as many women with square jaws, there are just as many women who are taller, there are just as many women who have big hands. These are facts too.

There are not just as many tall women as men or square jawed women as men. You're delusional. I don't care what is going on with your body. This is not about you. In fact you've just agreed with what I was saying!

Thank you. I appreciate your use of the proper pronouns and your defense of me. I just wanted to let you know it does mean a lot. You understand in a way many people on this board do not. I think it is due to you studying psychology. Maybe you should go into researching and treating transgendered people?

Thank you, I appreciate that. Like I said I was a bigoted asshole the last time I was here and was rightfully hated for it. I watched a couple of people literally lose their minds, and I watched someone die. It changed me in a way I can never describe but it taught me a lot and showed me how precious life was and how short it really is. We have a finite time on this planet and it shouldn't be spent hating others and wasting it being depressed and/or on drugs.

I was considering research, but I spoke to a researcher and it seems like an awkward career path. The first few years only provides semi-steady jobs of opportunity, and might necessitate moving around. So I dunno if I want to do that.
Something in Clinical Psychology would be interesting, and my time in my current work placement has given me detailed info on how to get there. But I'm still considering it.

I'm in University, studying a Psychology Degree. Won't be long until I go into my final year. But maybe I'll do some investigating and ask around. I don't know of any faculty at my Uni that have an interest in transsexualism, but it can't hurt to look around.
Good luck with medical school, by the way. What sort of medicine would you want to practice?

Ah, so you are well on your way. I still have a long ways to go but One day I will start going to Community college. I just need to save money first. The more people who study this and research it, the more legitimized it will become. FYI Transexual although isn't an offensive term is considered an outdated term. I don't think there is any issue with using it but some people will get all uppity about it.
I want to practice Neuro-Oncology or just Neurology. Brain tumors are so extreme, I saw what they can do and I would like to help the people who end up getting them.

That is what I am trying to do, This quote from AA touched a chord with me
Anyone can fight the battles of just one day. It is only when you and I add the battles of those two awful eternities, yesterday and tomorrow, that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives us mad. It is the remorse or bitterness for something that happened yesterday or the dread of what tomorrow may bring. Let us therefore do our best to live but one day at a time.
Drugs helped show me how much more there was to life. LSD showed me how beautiful it can be.

When I feel bad about myself and whatever I've done that makes me feel bad I try to remember this feeling
On shrooms
Spooning this person I have a big crush on
Realising that I don't have to be around anyone I don't want to and nobody has to be around me if they don't want to
And that means that every relationship I have is because both of us want to be around each other
Idk it is a big warm fuzzy feeling for me
Did you do Aa? What is that like?

I have never had an experience like that. Mine was more me sobbing in my room because I wanted to kill myself because I knew I was transgender and I knew I had to transition but I thought I could never go through with it because I would always look like an ugly man and I would never pass. LSD make me look at myself and the way I lived and make me feel ok with being trans for the first time in my life.
No I didn't do AA, I do go to sobriety groups for a different drug, but people on MC will never let me live it down so I'd rather not say what it was. They have helped a lot with keeping me clean. Sobriety is refreshing

LSD is both for me. I see and feel. I plan on taking 220ug this saturday so I will be posting then and having a running thread. I love it. I just sit outside in my chair and stare at the stars dreaming of the day that humanity leaves the floating rock and explores the great unknown.

I hear that exact ug doses are generally bullshit, and given my labs I fucking believe that
Don't trust whatever ug dosage you are told, just keep a benzo on you and trust your experience
Also also! Have you ever done acid in a dream? I had a dream that I had a dream I did acid. All the visual aspects were replaced by physical, like just sliding across the ground, vertigo

It is a terrifying thing to lose control of yourself and not be able to stop. Your SO and I aren't that different tbh. I am lucky I stopped, transitioning saved my life. I used because I didn't want to face reality and I didn't want to feel pain anymore.
I don't use Benzo's, thats pussy shit. I plan on getting up early on Saturday and watching the sunrise tripping bawls. This was sourced from somewhere and has been tested. It is 220ug, I have some 110ug that is amazing to trip on but its kind of weak. Maybe it was because I was inside. I want one of my friends to drive me around and have an adventure with me.
I want to fall asleep on acid and have a trip dream, but I can never fall the fuck asleep :(

It truly is a wonderful experience. If you ever fund some I can help you verify it is legit. Get a blacklight and look at both sides of the Lucy. If it glows really bright on the white side (or you see sparkly specks) its probably legit.

Am an Honorary Assistant Psychologist. Which means I help out the Clinical Psychologists with various tasks. Of course I don't get to treat anyone, but I get to sit-in on some appointments. They also let me design and pilot a patient satisfaction questionnaire, which has been fun.

Transgender or Transgendered. Transsexual is still used but it is more a term that is seen in older research articles. It kind of fased out in the late '00s. Again it isn't a bad term, just outdated..
Yes. I saw what schizophrenia looked like and I would like to know why human brains sometimes start hearing things and if there is a physical cause to it. Brain tumors are also interesting, depending on where the mass(es) are located it changes the way the tumor manifests psychological symptoms. Each section of the brain has a different role.

Thanks, I'll try to remember that. I suppose "transsexual" does sound quite academic. I probably picked the term up from research papers, actually.
Though obviously terrible if it happens to you or a loved one, it is indeed fascinating how drastically human behaviour can change due to brain injury. Some people can lose the ability to form new memories, some people could lose the ability to read (though still be able to write). Some people can lose control of their own hand, even. Or just undergo a some sort of personality change. So much can happen.
It's interesting, but also unsettling, to know that we could all be one brain injury away from losing a part of our perception or even identity. But, fortunately, we have neurologists to help with these things.

Don't be surprised if you still see it in papers, most researchers and people in general are moving toward transgender. Transsexual kind of makes it seem like a sexualized thing and it is not.
The brain is a wonderful organ that named itself. In the end it is a fragile thing and most people do not treat it as such. Wear a helmet.
