I thought I would add a few further cents of wisdom to this:
Transgenderism presents itself differently in autist cases. It's often mistaken for an obsessive preoccupation, when it (the "obsessive preoccupation" in question) is actually over the excessive prohibition caretakers, both medicinal and not, take against the said autist's proclivities. You will hear them express their preference for internal identification with the female gender much more literally, and it will often be mistaken for taking a delusional form; in actuality, this is merely the high time-preferentiality state of many cases of autistic thinking, a preference for 'here and now', hence, whatever they feel is as good as what they are. It's as simple as this: I've an intuitive knowing that being male isn't right for me, and doesn't accord with certain characteristics, which go deeper than superficial, base sexual (strictly in terms of sexual behaviour, that is to clarify) ones. In the few opportunities in which I've been able to befriend Aspergian women, I've gotten along with them much better and less awkwardly than my male counterparts (Ginger, my old philosophical partner who later betrayed me; even Emma), and I feel as if I socialize in a more inherently feminine way, with a preference for the discussion of the intangibly qualitative, touchy-feely, and abstract, versus the concrete, systemic, and solely intellectual. It's subtle, in the way I do this, clouded in such a discourse as philosophy.
You'll note that I deal with a fusion of spirituality and strictly philologically-iterative preposition; such an admixture is actually common to Aspie females, as I was to find in my brief dabblings in Wrongplanet (sadly, feminist beta-femalewhores who had been neuroleptically drugged of all that essence and turned into stereotypically 'hypermale' rote-automatons would kill my discussions with these women and ban me). Strictly logical thinking bores me if there's a better way to thatch it in a discourse with the occultic, esoteric, and intrinsically meaningful. I've been around many transsexuals and my opinion of them hasn't improved at all. What were you taking? Since you are self medding you should take 20mg of spiro and 6-8mg of estradiol valerate. Try that. You might have taken Ethynl-Estradiol which causes some serious fucking shit.
I get that, I do. You have to understand that (most of) the the therapists you see have no ill intention and just wish to help you. They see somebody who is sexualizing being a woman and do not want to be the one that prescribes that person hormones. I know you were honest with then and I commend you for that but reacting violently isn't the way to get the results you want. Don't like the opinion of the therapist you saw? See another one. I will admit some of them are full of shit, I have encountered quite a few doctors who treated me like shit so I can understand how you feel. If you really feel this way, if you really want to transition the opinion of one doctor will not stop you.

I am attempting to get dropped by my current psychiatrist with a view to getting a second opinion elsewhere.
My alternative recourse is to get the fuck out of Scotland. I think the corrupt psychiatric nurse that had co-operated with Haselgrove's devious plan has basically informed all GICs local to this nation at this juncture, meaning it's effectively a clandestine plan to push me out of the country. Hey, I'm not complaining. They're doing me a favour by motivating me to this extent.

You are acting paranoid. Do not assume that is what your doctor did unless you know for a fact. I don't know enough about BPD and transgender people to tell you anything other than that.
Go with the valerate instead. Taking more estrogen than you need will convert to Testosterone in the body. There has been no clinical benefit observed for people taking over 200mg of spiro. you were wasting it and pissing all of the time.

I've bad oedema anyway, so that might've been a good thing. As for my experience there, it was based on when I was last on the ward for suicide. Kenneth, the nurse in question, had asked an administrative porter to speak to the new head of the transgender clinic in Edinburgh whether I'd a referral and to tell him to "save the space", apparently, he's really disgusted by the idea of my transitioning due to the very myths promulgated about me by past, indifferent, intransigent, unrigorous, unscrupulous therapists.
There's no upstream conversion of estrogen to testosterone. I can't believe this myth is still being promulgated. Aromataze, the enzyme responsible for testosterone's conversion to estrogen, is pretty monodirectional in its action. Refer to any steroidogenesis chart. Besides, testosterone titers are not in the mere milligrams. You need near-gram doses for testosterone to have any significant effect, such that, even given this putative estrogen->testosterone upstream conversion, the doses of estrogen you'd have to take are more than would be pharmacologically feasible in accessibility.
