A Baltimore television station evacuated Thursday afternoon after a man walked into the lobby and threatened to blow up the building.Employees gathered in the parking lot outside the Fox 45 building as the man, dressed in some sort of bulky body suit with a face mask on, stood inside the building.
“He walked in and ripped open his shirt and said he has and bomb and if we didn’t broadcast what was on his thumb drive, he’d blow the place up,” one witness said as WJLA-TV broadcast live video from the scene.
Photo is before he was shot and is now down.
Station is unable to broadcast because the place is a crime scene and the man said he has a explosive vest on.
The man had reportedly made threats at the station before, according to WBFF-TV News Director Mike Tomko.

Update.The man making a bomb threat inside Fox 45 Thursday afternoon was armed with chocolate candy bars and a motherboard, not an explosive device, a Baltimore Police spokesman said.
Sources have not reveled the brand.

Edward Brizzi says his son was convinced the world would end on June 3.
Back in 2012 he tried to overdose on Aleve, Edward said, and spent a couple of weeks in a hospital. "It took seven policemen to hold him down and they took him to St. Agnes hospital," Edward said. "He says he don't remember anything. He had just broke up with his girlfriend ... it looks like he's just had mentally a breakdown ... what he was doing was probably putting himself to there thinking that he wanted to die, I think."
He said his son has bullet wounds in the neck, the left wrist, the left buttocks and the right leg.
