Ways they are similar to humans.

- 2% DNA difference
- warfare
- sense of community
- uses tools
- sociopathy / psychopathy
- mourns their dead
- patriarchy
- susceptible to diseases that humans can get, such as polio
- can masturbate to human females

It seems like they are too closely human yet they are still not there. What evolutionary addition could occur that pushes them to become us?

What happens if you were to introduce them to rituals and belief systems (i.e. politics or religion)? It is currently unknown if they even are aware of such concepts, but for whatever reason, I will not be surprised if they didn't have a very rudimentary belief system in place.

I was going to use the Banana as my first example. It shares 60% of its genes with humans. People have died from slipping on the peels. I have one ex gf that used to [Redacted] That is X-Rated but damn it sure was a unique way to eat a banana. (with whipped cream of course)
