Topic: £100 found lying on pavement

!MLHqI35Srs started this discussion 10 years ago #51,675

I immediately recognized what it was when I was in Livingston today, and thought, "fuck it, the previous holder of that money probably had enough anyway, and even if they're a broke codger, they're fucking retarded for leaving it there and deserve their punishment."

We're talking a split second between my acknowledgement of the money's existence and its disappearance into my back-pocket.

Let me argue some rudimentary ethics: the money was non-identifiable, it was laying there lone, and had no recognizable owner, and as such, I don't consider having stolen it directly. It was a simple enough "finder's keepers" principle at that juncture.

It should teach them to always use card, honestly.

They worked for that money. You had to bend over for it. You may as well suck up to the fact that the only way you can get money is to bend over for it. Use some of that money for lube.

You don't know that. My honest guess, given it's Friday, is that some scrounger dropped their whole gyro, lol.

Why can't you acknowledge you're immoral? It's easier than your incoherent rationalizations. I promise.

I know for a fact you do not have the intellect to earn £100.

If they were your initial response wouldn't be to hurl insults. Your lack of self awareness is admirable.

Scotland. There are precisely 0 records because it's a waste of time to install CCTV cameras in bumfuck semi-rural areas like the one I live in.

I'm poor. I need money. I'm going to hell anyway, for arguably better reasons than any privileged transgender archon (the systemically buoyed type) or gay lecher would ever do.

Scotland's fancy food

Haggis is pudding containing sheep's guts (heart, liver and lungs); minced with onion, oatmeal, sheep fat and blood and salt. All stuffed inside sheep's stomach.
