Let's face it, the vast majority, if not all, were. The bourgeois exploiters are, by the overwhelming majority, perpetrators of gendered oppression. The creation of binary genders and patriarchy has proved useful in atomising the proletariat, preventing working folk from feeling their natural class-based solidarity.

A true revolution, then, would not see one class willingly surrender its privileges to another.
