In the past there was too much inequality, there was racism and sexism, also a lot of wars.
Now, in the present, there is too much equality. There are vulnerable people out there who have been told again and again that ultimately it's what they themselves think which matters. We tell them to think for themselves because we don't want them to listen to the bad people who seek to hurt and exploit the weak.
But even though you tell the weak that they should think for themselves, they still choose to leave their ears open and since all good men have been told not to whisper in their ears, the evil people still whisper in their ears.

to all our new TC friends, this owl is another one of our hilarious ongoing inside jokes!
isn't it cute? i mean the owl, not the joke. the joke is actually rather mean spirited.

How far back does the owl joke go? I was under the impression that I was witness to its creation about 5 months back or so. Is this not the case?

well, when something interesting happens somewhere i don't know anything about then it's cool to hear the perspective of people that are from there. that's a big part of the reason i use the internet. so yeah, if one of the leaders of a country you're from has some kind of massive scandal and rocks the whole of your country speak up.
what's your take on the whole thing?

My take on it is this: I'm glad I no longer live there. I could talk all day about it, there is so much to tell that I can't even try.
In fact, the foreign media is only revealing half the story.
Right now in Iceland there is a big confusion about if he has even resigned. The word is that he hasn't but is simply temporarily stepping down.
Then there is another whole other thing where the pm visited the president. Nobody knows for sure what the meeting was about, the president said that the pm had asked him to dissolve the Parliament for a while, making the Parliament unable to demand his resignation. The president said that he denied that request. Meanwhile the pm says that the president is lying, provoking the president to prove his claim. His proof? The type of suitcase that the pm came to his house with, yes you heard me right. The president says that the type of suitcase he brought to his house was a suitcase designated to carry only certain types of papers, papers that involves the shutdown of the Parliament.
The pm denies this and this is where the story ends.

Good people think it's wrong to dominate. Evil people think so too but don't care.
Which means that the people vulnerable to domination are being dominated by evil people since good people are afraid to dominate.

So did he actually resign, or what? I've heard conflicting things, one suggested that he didn't resign, but rather temporarily handed the reins over to someone else or some such. I haven't been following the panama papers stuff that closely though.

Tell you what, Becky, I'll email you my posts, and you proof them from hereon out. I'm going to be honest, the pay is low, but the job is fulfilling. First things first though, I need you to get started on editing this novella I've been working on before we even worry about my shitposts.
