Wots the fuck? OK So you had fresh made Corn Tortillas - What did you have it with? Care to share if it was the best Mex you have ever had? Now fact is its not common for me to sit down at a place where they make the Tortillas right in front of you. Meowth probably no's about the Tortilla factory in old town - Tourist joint and they make em Fresh but reviews of food always say its strictly for tourists. So Fresh don't necessarily mean the other food is all that much so good
There is one place we go to on our Taco Tuesday runs that does make them FRESH right in front of ya - and they make other Mex items like Pupusas - variations of as a regional thing Fresh on the same grill.

Best guess is that you ate your Pretend Mex at some New York city tourist joint.

Not all of us were born such as you with a Latino mom who cooks for you.
Yes I do on occasion cook home made Mexican and I am famous locally for my Chile Rellenos, which are from Moms Recipe and based more on the original Spanish version which is more meat than cheese.
Mine look much more better than photo
