I have to wait until June 7th.
May switch parties for the fun of it and then switch back.

New York votes on April 19th so I haven't voted yet. @previous (E)
Be careful, some states require you to switch parties a certain amount of time in advance of an election. In NY I think the deadline is October. Check your local board of election site for info.

May 23, 2016 is the last day in California to make the change. On June 8th you can change it back. Its a popular topic of conversation around here.

Switched to Dem to vote Sanders, although it's not that I think my vote counts for much, it was essentially because I lost a bet. Anyway, McAfee would be my first choice, but Sanders is growing on me.

Vote for Sanders. He is becoming Psychotic as he reads the math that makes it look like only the Pope can come up with a miracle to help Bernie out.

We have Bernie who will give everyone free college and health care. He is using that Chicken in every pot and a new car in every garage type of promise. He is going to do this by only taxing the very rich. Sounds just super how can we go wrong?
Trump offers a way to cut the National Debt to Zero if you give him two terms. He has a plan to build a much better wall than the wall of China except he for some reason lets Canada off with open borders so ISIS can just walk rite on in. Trump has a solution for everything - I mean how can we go wrong?
Hillary has lots of baggage. She has a lot of people that dislike her. For some reason she is not promising all that much. So how can we go wrong.
Its time for me to hit the shower and go out for a super Friday evening of fun so I will leave this tid bit re Trump and his climb for support - He best get busy and find a way to uptick his support over all - Oh of course he must have a plan to magically all of a sudden make women happy cause 75% say they will not vote for him and for some odd reason Millions of more Women than Men vote.
I cannot wait to see how Trump pulls a rabbit out of hat to overcome this strange situation.
squeegee replied with this 10 years ago, 58 seconds later, 3 hours after the original post[^][v]#666,581
she'll probably take off early most afternoons, too, to pick up the kid from daycare and stuff. and weekends, she won't work weekends. at least not after the kids. before that she'll be awesome, up every night partying and getting shit done during the day. but after the first baby the whole presidency changes.

sanders has proposed raising taxes on a class of small business that includes the company i work for. we have less than 1k employees, way less than that, and part of his tax proposal would increase taxes by like 30%. it's actually unsustainable for us. i have my thumb in all the pies and i know the pulse of our business. i know our profit/loss. with our rate of growth (which has stalled out after a couple of years of expansion) we won't be doing any further hiring, not for the foreseeable future, and things like bonuses and petty expenses would go bye-bye. we'd have to do some pretty serious belt tightening and since we have very tight overhead i don't have a lot of money to throw around for things like marketing/advertising anyway and we can't cut out our material costs or any other expenses really. i can only spread things so thin before we've got to dip into people's pockets and take their bonuses and shit.
i really really don't want to do that, i really really like getting a bonus myself. i also like the cost of living increases we get and we already need to hire another qualified technician. atm we fill the gaps by contracting out a lot of what should be in-house work.
So, Bernie Sander's tax plan scares me because it will directly effect me, because his distinction between who is "rich" and who is "not rich" starts at the poverty line, bud. lots of companies who aren't mego-corps will get taxed horribly, and how that trickles down, we'll see. and as far as i know his plan won't effect things like capital gains (please correct me if i'm wrong, i'd love to know more) so people that are mega-wealthy and pay almost no taxes still won't have to pay taxes and financial institutions like banks and brokerage firms won't be effected either, since they are taxes very differently than your standard S-Corp, llp, or anything else the 99% actually own.
and my bosses aren't wealthy, i know how much they pay themselves. they employ a lot of people and own a company, but they don't have assets out the ass or funnel money out of the country.
honestly, so much money flows out of the country to protect rich people that if they'd focus on stopping the mega-rich from dodging taxes then there'd be no need to aggressively go after the small business guy who doesn't have the money or resources to do anything but follow the letter and spirit of the law. all he'll do is raise taxes that rich people will find some other way of avoiding to pay, and then make the rest of us hump even more than our fair share.
i don't like bernie sanders tax plan. it scares me.

squeegee replied with this 10 years ago, 9 minutes later, 4 hours after the original post[^][v]#666,617
@previous (beckyderp !Hi.HILLARY)
high enough that i think the 30% increase may be wrong, and also high enough that i don't want to go digging for a source or read through his bullshit tax proposal shit. pretty much the way i see it, is if sanders gets his tax plan then we'll end up with economic stagnation and more job problems, because the richest rich people will find a way to dodge it anyway and the extra burden on small business will hurt everyone.
if he wins the nomination he's going to have a real hard time during the election convincing me otherwise. hillary though, she may be a criminal, but at least she won't fuck up the status quo with aggressive taxation.
she's not talking about that, right?

I was in such a rush to hit the shower and get out for my Friday nite fun - I did not even look at Sanders tax plan other then Commies like Sanders always want to tax the wealthy
Wot amazes me is how I left Cruz out - Perhaps because I really have no clue wot Cruz wood do OTHER Then as he says - Close the IRS - I remember he said just one page of rules and 3 tax rates - Of course he may have a problem on collecting the money. There are also legit reasons for Biz deductions - Yikes can anyone in Restaurant and Hotel biz and transportation like Airlines - If a business cannot deduct Biz expenses YIKES - Cruz is totally Bat Shit Crazy - So wot could go wrong.

Somehow me thinks you got the impression I am Anti Clinton? Just cause I find that button funny. Nothing could be more far from truth. I am voting for Hillary.
