Internet Relay Chat. It's a network protocol for chat, anyone can run an irc server and anyone can use an irc client to connect to it. There are several big irc networks that anyone can create a channel on, which is what we do. Our channel is ##minichan on the irc.freenode.net server. You can forget all that and just go to https://minichan.org/chat (this can be found under stuff)

The IRC is a spin-off of Minichan. The premise is it's a few Minichan namefags together in one area, no anonymity, and a few IRC-exclusive namefags are thrown in.
