Posting an empty message body with a YouTube link is an excellent way to ensure no one cares.

looks good. i wonder if they plan of doing any new star wars movies with a male protagonist instead of just having them be bad guys. and i wonder if they'll do any female villains, or if they'll just use old white men for those some more.
i've got a couple of nephews who've loved star wars their whole lives and it'd be kind of nice if one of these new movies had a main male character that wasn't a spineless traitor or a whiny putz who kills his father.

but, i will add that i find a female protagonist more than appropriate for rogue one. she appears to basically be playing the female rogue archetype from fantasy writing but in a sci-fi setting. hopefully she's some kind of orphan or at least a loner without many ties to anything who discovers that she's somehow related by blood to very powerful figures in the story. she'll probably be very skilled with a short bladed weapon but generally have a lot of combat versatility. she'll probably be very morally ambiguous, but attach to people she teams up with and grows a heart and ends up caring for more than the fight.

The soda? It's so sour and sweet that I cut it with tonic water and lots of ice.
The blood orange variety is much more balanced. Your taste both in films and fine Italian soda is questionable.

really strong role in the preview. you sure about that?
@previous (E)
sure, i already said a female lead is fine. but, like you said, they already have rey setup for 3 movies. where aee the stong male leads for boys? or are they all going to be villains and support roles?
sure, this isn't the seventies, but that doesn't make things opposite world. where are the strong role models for boys in this new star wars franchise, is there not enough room for them too?

Missing the point. There's nothing wrong with boys having girl role models. Progress some more.
And since when have all trailers dictate the flow of a movie?

What the fuck are you talking about? There was like one woman lead in the last movie and at least 4 men
The Stupid pilot asshole
The Black guy with a heart of Gold
Han Solo
Luke sky walker
And you're complaining because... Rey?? plus one woman in an upcoming film?
get Over it get over yourself

seems funny to feature her so much if she's only a supporting character. didn't see any males that had a story arc featured. hers was, though.
and i guess you're right. it's fine for the males to only play bad guys and spineless traiters and fodder for battle scene deaths. so progressive.

I watched the video, and it just looks like a shitty ripoff of that Battlestar Galactica TV movie. No way I'm going to blow $10 to sit in a theater full of screaming manchildren in home made Klingon costumes just to watch that. Thanks.

He's right though. You're making a big fucking deal about 2 female protagonists who were in movies mostly male dominant. You also show that you are out of touch by the implications that boys cannot look up to girl characters. Men and women are both people, you know.

so should i go with dames, broads or girls instead of females? since not all women are girls i figure female refers to them all. i'll just call all females girls if you'd prefer. i find it creepy to refer to young girls as women when i generalize about their gender.
so girls it is then.
