Barely. But as I pointed out on Tinychan some years ago, it's etymologically troublesome: the prefixation of 'trans-' onto 'misogyny' mistakenly implies on first reading that it's the transpersons in question committing the misogyny. I'd always wanted its consistuent roots reorganized, ala mistransogyny or the like.

@OP
This kind of thing, Mr. Gillon, is one of the reasons no one takes your opinions seriously.

Oxygen, racism sexism all happen at the same time. Blueberries and cream happen at the same time. Steak and baked potato happen at the same time. Chips and dip happen at the same time.

I don't think that it needs its own term

You don't think there can be any relation between the two?

Not anymore than with any other race. It's also why I don't think that the word misogynist needs anything added to it. People made those other terms to feel even more oppressed.

@previous (kook !!mCVqftDha) > People made those other terms to feel even more oppressed.
Okay... So, if I'm understanding correctly, the root of your objection is that you think that the term was made to serve some sort of agenda, and doesn't have any sort of actual use? Do I have that right?
If so, kook, then I've had it with your bold claims! I'm going to politely disagree with your assessment, and move along.

Also it makes it sound that the word misogyny only pertains to white women.

are they women or are they different than women? thet can't have it both ways, yet insist on making a distiction only when it serves them. misogyny should be the appropriate label to apply to somone with a prejudice against women, trans or genetic. having their own pet term only serves to separate transwomen from women.
of course they are women when it comes to restrooms though.
:/

Very true. They expect to be treated like bio women in all ways, except they want double the oppression points
