God, I don't know. It's really crazy, but there are some parts that make me wish I hadn't watch it, like when Shinji faps to comatose Asuka and it shows the spooge on his hand.

If you like mindfuck crazy giant robot anime it's worth watching. It's pretty emo, though, and Shinji is an annoying bitch. The story itself is pretty rad though.
It's one of those shows where none of the characters are likable. The only borderline likable character is Katsuragi.
