In Slovenia we have Saint Borut, he was known for his field medic skills during WW1. He was always dressed in civil clothes, helping injured soldiers on the battlefield. He was shot 7 times, and even amputated his own leg in under a minute. The cut off leg never decayed or fell apart, the flesh still looks fresh and it's still bleeding out. It's being kept in the National Museum of Field Medicine near lake Bled.
Rumors say Saint Borut is still alive, treading himself, keeping himself alive with sheer willpower.
