Probably! It probably also takes more than knowing how to use Photosohp to do it though.

It takes a natural talent. Maybe people are born with it or it evolves, or a mix of both. I think though there is plenty of room for mediocre retouchers

Based on what? Before this thread you didn't even know it was a profession. Do you often see professionally done retouches that are mediocre?
