Totally true. Devils advocate of course is that people usually expect the impossible. They expect politicians to talk out of mouth and ass at the same time cause over a life time that is actually the quality of the result. But at least one can for the most part quantize a politician to some degree. Don't want to buy a pig and then find out its diseased.
I think Trump is a diseased pig and its only the extent of how diseased that pig is and if he gets into the white house can he do real damage. No one has a clue including Trump himself.

I'm not sure it's very calming that a potential leader of America could be saying any kind of crazy shit, only to suddenly change it later anyway.
It's not fine that he goes around saying things like "we'll force Mexico to pay for the wall". He shouldn't be saying things like that in the first place.

To me the "build a wall and make Mexico pay for it" line was on the same level as "free pizza and make Italy pay for it". I really doubt anyone believed it and if they did they're very silly indeed because it would never get through Congress.
Donald Trump is a work of performance art, almost a parody of American politics. It's like something Christopher Morris would have done on Brass Eye. On the more serious side though he's also a harbinger of the growing class divide in America (Bernie Sanders is the other side of this coin) which shows no signs of abating.
