Back when I decided to get a divorce the last thing on my mind was our dog. I took that dog on lots of hikes and had memorable experiences as a result. Post the divorce ex wood ask me if I could take the dog for the weekend and I said YES YES of course and told her about my plans for a hike. End of any chances with the dog again. Weird cause she was also into Mountain climbs - Hiking Back backpacking etc. I figure she feared some accident - Together we never had any kinda accident - In fact I have never had more than a minor stumble -
If I had it to do over again I wood have put on paper rules post divorce re the dog - Maybe joint custody.
