Why do we see this so much with Avatar and the Pandora universe, but we don't see it so much with World of Warcraft and other MMO players, Dungeons and Dragons roleplayers, Pokemon fans, and other major fantasy movies? Do you think that with things like WoW, they cope with their addiction by immersing themselves in the game to convince themselves that it's more tangible than it is? Maybe what we see as a video game addiction is actually the same addiction that these Pandora people have and the constant playing of the game is really just a symptom, not the addiction itself.
