Just hanging out. I was of course flying through space. The fear was being pulled in by gravity and falling into the gas giant. It's scary to think about all the layers of gas/plasma/whatever and no actual concrete surface to land on.

oh, you'd eventually hit something dense enough you'd call it a solid for all intents and purposes. and the radiation would probably kill you long before you'd even breach the cloud layer. not to mention you'd be crushed by pressure way up in the upper atmosphere so you wouldn't have long to worry about crashing into the surface of anything.
