That's an interesting idea. On second thought, it could make the site more vulnerable. Someone could flood the site with very large images and put a heavy load on the server CPU which would have to scale down all those images.

lol PRQ already complains about our CPU usage as it is, do you think using even more server resources is going to make them happy?
Anyway, yes it would at the very least double the CPU usage per image.
It *could* work out if there was some sort of delay, like a queue of images to be resized when the site is FUCKING DEAD. But that's waay too much effort...

Its a joke.
As for resizing images in realtime, that would open up all the glitches currently present in thumbnails. Gifs reduced to one frame and some filea losing transparancy.
As for this site being small, it is but not for this kind of hosting. Most sites joining us on this server are non-dynamic sites or at least with fairly little user generated content.
