i fucked up by going to sleep last night. big mistake. woke up this morning and was in a lot of pain in my lower back. could hardly get out of bed. can't stand up straight and putting on clothes was a challenge. i actually had to ask a neighbor to walk lonestar for me because i can't go up and down stairs to my porch, lol. standing up hurts like crazy and i have zero strength, i'm hobbling around bow legged and even sitting down is super uncomfortable. time for a very long, and very hot soak in the tub.
I had 18 months of pain and poor sleep before I got an MRI.

i dunno, fucked it up. happens sometimes. it's always just muscular pain but it always feels like joint pain.
@652,723 (D)
it's not "new", i've hurt it like this before. it's muscle pain, usually i take a nice hot back and the muscles relax and everything gets un-knotted. there's no joint swelling or anything, it's not a slipped disk or anything afaik. but yeah, i probably need a new bed. i was planning on getting one last year and got lazy.

Like your muscles just won't stop contracting and it's causing your joints to grind together? Been there. Shit sucks.
Maybe glass of something relaxing with your hot bath would help? Anyway, I hope you sort it out and feel better.

You spend more money on weed than it would take for a low income person to receive subsidized insurance.
And there are low cost options available through universities.
And plenty of options for people with no insurance at all.
I hope you break your stupid fucking neck.

You should try to get some muscle relaxers and stretch your back by laying on your bed, face up and slowly lowering your head to the floor.

An ex of mine used to give me methocarbamol and martinis when I would be in pain. She was a dear.

Unless you know what's specifically causing the pain, stretching can cause more damage to the spine.

But he probably didn't injure his spine by sleeping funny

No, not initially. But he stated that he's experienced back pain in the past. You can certainly aggravate a preexisting condition by twisting in the wrong direction. Particularly while sleeping when you can remain in the same position for several hours.
Stretching any back muscle is not recommended right after an injury.
