I use Dr. Bronner's pure castile peppermint soap. The soap is absolutely invigorating and I am comforted by reading the religious ravings on the label whilst showering (seriously it's like a 5,000 word manifesto you have to read it, it's almost Timecube-level nuts). Price is $9.99 for 32oz at any good drugstore or supermarket.

I sometimes want to buy a bottle just because I know i'd have fun reading it in the shower
@OP
In the morning I wash my face in the shower with some goat's milk soap bar I bought next door to wear I work
when I am out of shower I spray my face with this weird cucumber mist that makes my skin look and feel kinda nice
at night I wash my face with a Mario badescu like aloe face wash thing because it's p gentle and then use a cerave pm face lotion thing
sometimes I put Neosporin on my face. I always put it on after I shave I am convinced it's good for my skin
the rest of my body gets Chandrika soap or whatever other goat soap I am using. I love goat milk soap
i ordered a l'occitane fancy soap thing for like 20 bucks like 2 days ago so that's what i will be washing myself with next
i haven't broken out in like 2 years i attribute it to these products

I wash my face whenever I shower, with Dr Bronners peppermint soap. Usually every two days but right now I am drowning in work so today is my first shower since Saturday. And lotion, whatever's available.
I have a bottle of astringent but I only use it to clean off my whiteboard calendar, I don't need it for my skin.

Buy one. Seriously it's awesome soap, very concentrated you only need a little bit so a bottle lasts a long time.

Remember when Matt's schtick was about how USAmericans shower too much and he only showered once a month to let his oils and pheromones build up?

Honestly the only difference I've noticed is that my hair is starting to be greasy when I wash it, as opposed to every day or every other day

I shower twice a day with a loofah and some kind of triple moisturizer body wash, and Cetaphil on my face. Then I use an in shower lotion by Nivea, which I don't like as much as my last brand which I think was by Jergens. When I dry off, I use a generic collidial oatmeal lotion, and also a medicated, cooling anti itch lotion.

This is one thing I'll never get about women: why do you always want to rub food on your skin/hair?!.

Also if I'm going to shave anything, I exfoliate with a walnut hull scrub.
