OPIf you live in USA? For the most part 4Get about it. Betfair will not take your bet. They require a Address ANY Address outside the USA and you must have a bank account OUTSIDE the USA.
I love Betfair and miss Intrade. I have a bank account and an address that qualifies in Australia. I also make it a point to pay all taxes on gains in Au and USA.
So about IF you live in USA and want to take advantage of Betfair. If you have great contacts with anyone outside the USA need I say more.
Now about the accuracy of Betfair odds. They are as good as my two favorite choices 538.com and Sam Wang at Princeton. Nate Silver who has a mega stellar record on forecasting which has been at the very edge of 100% accuracy in the past - He argues with Sam Wangs methods as Sam argues against Nate's. Yet both are almost equally accurate - Its my best guess that the bookies at Betfair use both Nate and Sam to forecast the odds on USA elections.

Well then. With the current odds and if you are rite? You could make a fortune betting on Trump.
Trump is doing a terrific job blowing wind and getting attention. A genuine PT Barnum. I think he will get the nomination with the possible exception that a brokered convention breaks his back. Thing is the GOP does not seem to have a 2nd choice that 2/3 of the others want to run with. In fact Trump so far has not broken the 50% support point. So I am not about to spend one dime betting that he will make the GOP candidate.
Now the best odds are really not with Betfair in my book. So yes I will use them but the very very very best odds are with local true believers. Taking their cold cash is well its just going to be pure fun.

Ross Perot beat his meat about the NAFTA wayyyy back when. But fact is Trump IF he were to win - He wood not end up a Dictator with powers to break hard core contracts in place.
