I saw this scene in the new walking dead episode, where like this kid got eaten by zombies. It was the way they all "hugged" him and how only his mouth was visible all open and screaming for his mom.

yeah, it was a pretty awesome episode wasn't it. i don't read the comics so everything is new to me. personally i was pretty shocked by it all. I wasn't expecting cute blonde lady to get eaten, i thought they wanted her for generic love interest. i wasn't surprised that carl got shot, but i was shocked to see that he was shot in the fucking eye. i mean god damn, wtf. i was pretty taken aback. i honestly thought it was a dream sequence or something, but no. no it wasn't. i'm pretty sure that carl and rick aren't going to ever die, in fact i have a pet theory about the whole virus and them having a genetic immunity to "turning dead" and instead just "stay alive" which is why rick didn't die in the hospital after losing life support. i was half expecting one of them to get a heart shot and just not die and be a zombie but with consciousness or something. i still expect that to be the case later in the series, but carl's eye shot doesn't have to be fatal. it's a survivable injury, so i doubt it's going to lead directly to that kind of speculation. but, i think they are the only characters that "can't" be killed, or at least never will be. everyone else is on the table.

i'm looking forward to better call saul more than walking dead. there's only a handful of shows i watch and walking dead is better than most choices i have. it's a better way to spend an hour than watching just about any reality show. at first i liked it, then it got shitty, then it got kinda better and now i watch it cause there's not much else on. last season i think i started kinda liking it again and now i'm kinda back into it because it has gotten better. for a while it was getting pretty old, but now it's gotten better again with all the fast paced action and crazy deaths and all. but yeah, there are shows i'd much rather be watching new episodes of.

also, in the walking dead, carol is awesome as fuck now. far and away my favorite character, but i have a feeling this season is going to end up changing her and she's not going to be the most lethal woman in the world anymore. but, i love how she's played the first part of this season, she lets everyone judge her based on her looks and even dresses in little cardigans and bakes cookies, so no one in alexandia suspected she's the angel of death. everyone is all concerned about rick and the others, but carol just disappears among the townspeople like she was always there. very dangerous woman, that carol, and everyone was pretty surprised to see her running through town dual wielding pistols and braining anyone who got in her way during the invasion. she's like a housecat that looks like a mouse.
