half siblings implies blood. like, same mother or same father but not both. step brother and step sister are not related by blood. also the creepyness would entirely depend on the context. two kids brought up AS brother and sister for years and then having sex, yeah, creepy. they are practically brother and sister. going the other way lets say two old people get married in their 60s and their kids meet (at 30 years old) and sparks fly and fall in love and have sex. that's not creepy. that's just a weird coincidence that isn't even weird more than just unusual. it would totally just depend on the context when you're talking relation by marriage only.

I met a guy at work that went through a rough break up with his gf. I found out that she was his step sister for 5+ years and they were 9 when their parents got together. The parents split, they were 25 when they broke up.

But I do propose this question to you... if someone's half brother were to have sex with that someone's half sister who is not blood related to them, would that count as incests?
