It's still on my bookshelf, having been untouched in nearly a year and a half. I have, in actual fact, two copies of the thesaurus, the same edition in different print formats: one's hardback and the other's paperback. The hardback copy was actually much cheaper (20p vs. £7.99), having been bought at what the Americans would call a 'garage sale', or our closest quivalent thereto, the 'car boot market'.
It's just in case I lose the other copy, you understand.
Both haven't been touched, collectively and consecutively, in about 4 years combined, or respectively, an average of 2 years each. I haven't used electronic thesaurii since 2013.
Why? Accustomment to the language has given me a naturally large vocabularic propensity. Certainly, as I've mentioned before, being a physically weak pansy, it's actually quite distressingly exhilirating to use a print thesaurus copy.
My VIQ vocabulary subsection score was 141 upon recent test, with no access to a thesaurus. I do nearly as well on word-analogies (going by percentile there isn't much of a functional difference between a 127 and 141 score), showing it isn't uncontextually used.

My girl friend threw out my Thesaurus.
Frankly, I'm lost for words.

So you never use your thesaurus, but you keep two copies just in case you lose one?
Right.

Asperger symptoms have cross-over with OCD in the respect of wanting physical copies of things they never use "in place" literally "just because".
It's no more rational, and certainly every bit as irrational, as that.

What do you do for a living, again?

It's often lied that I have no job. I've actually kept my postal position at the local mail distribution depot for the last year and a half and was promoted in December 2015 with a supervisorial role. But since none of you are meticulous enough to cross-read chans, I'd let Matt content in his delusions. I will tell you though, were it true I was exclusively on welfare (you can claim and work to a certain limit simultaneously), I'd not be able to afford OTI 'mones.

More often than not, and that's an example of this trend standing integrally.
Meanwhile, you cast disingenuous aspersions onto me in an attempt to break me down reputationally and have me acquiesce to it. Sorry, it's not happening on this thread.

I asked a simple question. As expected you come back with word salad trash.

It's much simpler to those people with actual verbal comprehension skills. Evidently, as ever, in your dismissal you'd engaged in a round-about way of not having to confront your deficits in this area. Who's the indirect one now?!

Your reply is clearly one more lie.
