Topic: Why do American Christians deny that Jesus was Middle Eastern?

Jesus clearly wasn't white. He was from a patch of land that is now modern day Israel. He was from the Jewish faith. Judaism and Islam are both faiths originating from the Middle East. Therefore Christianity is also a Middle Eastern religion. How does this keep getting forgotten and why do I suspect it started when the religion spread to Rome and Europe?
