Topic: i had the worst headache i've ever had in my life last night
squeegee started this discussion 10 years ago#49,366
i actually thought there was something wrong. i was pretty close to calling an ambulance because i thought i was maybe about to have an aneurysm or something. it was kinda just a regular mild headache and so i drank some water and took an asprin and went to bed. at some point i rolled onto my side and my head started throbbing and i woke up with a really nasty sharp pressure on my eyes and i started to get vertigo, light sensitivity, chills, sweats and vomiting. it lasted about 2 hours i guess. at one point i was laying on the bathroom floor and was smacking the top of my head because it helped for some reason.
the pain came in severe waves and in between there was just a hard, dull ache and all the other symptoms. i just kept trying to hydrate and i kept saying the alphabet and counting backwards from 100 to make sure i wasn't having some kind of stroke or something. it was miserable. eventually it subsided enough i was able to pass out at 6 something. i called in late and ended up leaving work early. my whole body feels fatigue, and in the middle of everything i was kinda struggling to stay standing because of vertigo but i was weak too. like flu kinda weak. i thought it was maybe a flu coming on, but i'm not flu sick today. just tired and still mild headachy.
i don't think it was a migraine, i've never had one, but a sister in law would get them (and all those same kinda symptoms) but she said a migraine is pain more in the middle or back of the head. mine felt like someone had crushed my frontal lobe with a sledge. like the worst sinus headache i've ever had, i guess. idk, it was pretty bad. i hope to never suffer a headache like that again, it was unimaginably painful. i was having visions of drowning myself in the bathtub if it didn't quit.
but i'm glad i manned up and didn't waste 5 grand on a damn ambulance ride.

It probably was a migraine. We're you on any medications?

The worst pain i have ever felt was a headache, so I know what you mean. Ain't anything quite as alarming as your brain screaming with pain.
In the end, who knows what caused it so you might as well forget it. Maybe next time, go easy on the water, too much water might actually cause a headache.

When I was trying to switch from pain pills to a patch I got a headache very similar to this. Nausea, dizziness, intense headache behind the Eyes (well one eye at a time) and a sensitivity to light so severe it felt light a bikt of lightning going through my eyeball into my head when I gazed at direct light.

Not trying to scare you, maybe it's not my advice to give.
But see a doctor, if I were you.

Sounds terrible. I don't know what it is about headaches, it's so different from any other pain.

Ok although there is that old adage about taking medical advice from the Internet.

I hear you. Makes you kind of want to inflict greater pain on yourself as long as it isn't on your head, just to take away the focus on the headache.

I used to have fantasies of storing bullets in the freezer so that I could shoot myself in the head during a migraine and just wink out in a blast of icy relief

The pleasure was mine. But I hope i won't bitterly disappoint you. It's my talent and comes to me naturally.

Ask dogs for help and diagnosis. It was a migraine. Everythings under some control. Downpart. Like being nuts like me it allows contact with higher beings. I would hope to see what other joe`s and mary`s think about it for giving spirit u all councelation. Two days ago I got annihilated by a fake hernia and burning in hell. Talkimg about silent screams eyes wide open not to wake ur girlfriend all night long. Joe says I have contractures in my back. Anyway, what I wanted to say is trough my guides I can call up pain at will by asking them. Talking about weird, `they` actually are giving me pain for some reason. I have really phases where i am in great pain but i dont give a shit which gives me some special ability. When the pain hits me unprepared it sucks like the worst hell you can imagine. Never the less pain, when like channelled can become a special friend. I will ask my joe now if you will have special abilities. Spirit`ro`joe says yes but you will not know, but what about higher reasoning .. channeling now .. harder brain and visual muscles. it all provides in the great spectacle.. okey that was my joe. I have also a wierd story about somebody I know who has a kyste in her brain. She speech impairment and has a hard time talking to her beloved, yet when I track her psyche and together with joe I can have conversations with her which are allowed for preparing her for death. Spirit is with you also and it could give you the answers that you seek. I feel like shit for you though, pain without reason is the worst beating. God is everywhere ro ther mustbe reason, I hope your answer comes soon. Fuck, i hope your glad it is over. I took a migraine simulation now and its kind a blinding and feels a little like psychosis. I just do not dear to take the full simulation now on my head. Everythings under command of the great spirit. My hernia buddy would say I feel for you, everything is going to turn allright I did for me in a weird way. Ask for a guide. Batteries gonna die. God Speed.

Chronic severe headaches. His wife came home and found him on the 3rd floor in a closet. She asked what he was doing and he pulled the trigger.
