Would you rather spend the rest of your life trapped in the body of a 10 year old (and denied all adult rights) or trapped in the body of an 80 year old?

It depends.. Is the eighty year old in good health? Does he get a healthy amount of sex? If so, then i'll be the eighty year old.

You will be in the typical health state of an 80 year old eg walk slowly, your bones will break if you have the slightest accident, walking is quite tiring.
80 year olds don't get sex. You could conceivably pay for blowjobs.

So in either scenario one can assume that aging doesn't occur, else you wouldn't be trapped at all.
Given the choice of spending eternity as a child or as an elderly person, I'd go with the former option.

You are correct, aging does not occur in this scenario.

He could simply wait for a new society without such draconian sex laws to arise. Fuck yeah, immortality!

What would you call it then, the whole non-aging thing?
Immortality is what I would call it.

not immortal. you still only get your 80 years but you are stuck at one age that whole time.

By what mechinism would I die, if not by aging?
Now I suppose there is a Bureau of Death that goes around offing people's unaging bodies as they reach 80 years of existance?
Define the parameters of your hypothetical better!

I am far from 80 yet I am clearly heading that way - What I can testify to re being older then 10.
I am in much better shape at my older age then when I was 10. I know my Cholesterol count at age 17 and today it is so fucking much better. My BP is much lower then at age 17 nor do I take any meds for Blood Pressure or for that matter anything.
No way can I even think about dick hardness at 10 because back then I had no clue why that even occurred. I do know my Dick is harder - longer now then it was at 17 and works far more better now then it did at 17
Now the downside. I do go to nude beaches when I can. Do I think I look better at my current age compared to 17? Some aspects Yes, however I spend a hell of a lot of time in Sun - Surfing - Mountain climbing - Skiing - outdoor festivals for which there are about to be so many I again need a clone. Next weekend four major outdoor festivals with music and food and eye candy with 100,000 attending one and 100,000 people attending the other and 25,000 people at the other and all for FREE!!!! Including parking. So a lot of Sun too much Sun
So no I do not look better as older. I feel younger then I was at 17 - much more energy.

Any tips for longevity? What type of diet do you eat?
Syntax replied with this 15 years ago, 16 minutes later, 12 hours after the original post[^][v]#87,906

I am not after longevity - I already have that in my Genes based on relatives - What I am after is staying super healthy. Those Genes are from my moms side of family with a slew of relatives over 90 and even 100. On my dads side they live long but with serious heart issues and I end up with those issues EXCEPT I said no to 5X bypass and after 6 weeks at UCLA MED Library 12 hours + day 7 days a week I found I could and did beat the need to chopping up my pipes to clear out crud.
So that running I do daily Yeppers - Dancing which was never part of the plan is super healthy - The kind I do is Aerobic for hours at a time - Pipes not only carry blood they are a major part of the Heart as a outside pump to assist the Heart and off load it. My pipes went from 85-90% blocked to zero gunk found.
So it was a major change of diet - life style - Diet means low fat meat and lots of Fish and of course a variety of great veggies. Sushi rocks - Seafood has almost zero fat and of course I keep the fried as very rare event - I do take Omega-3's and a slew of off the shelf Vitamins
One takes a book or review of web to use or you end up wanting death real fast - Niacin the real deal - now I do use a non flush slow release in PM and pure Niacian of shocking amount in AM. Chased at night with some Psyllium. I read labels b4 buying packaged foods.
So life style diet as life style and more fun in my life as planned. Super great Blood Pressure - Far more energy then ever. So for me its Quality of life while alive rather then longer life. NO wants to be stuck in chair or just only able to watch TV when Old - there are dancers I know in 80's an more. Even a famous teacher from Ole Lindy days of Harlem ---he just passed but few days b4 he was still teaching at full speed.
