I see this and OWS as fairly equally hopeless as far as advancing their causes goes. I don't think though that the Oregon protestors being armed makes them worse than OWS. I haven't researched this particular issue enough to form an opinion on which side is in the right, but just saying "they're armed" doesn't automatically make it worse than OWS to me.
