The tradition in the United States of America for both the Fourth of July and New Year's Eve is to drink and party which usually involves the lighting of fireworks and shooting of firearms. Now for bystanders, what is more likely to kill you if you happen to be the one unfortunate soul.

I am also aware that drinking and partying is a pretty global past time, but I only mentioned the U.S. because of July 4.
