it's decent... wasn't going to listen at first but i've heard things from "anyone who doesn't like it is a tryhard hipster" to "it's just blood on the dancefloor marketed toward art school students" so i decided to give it a spin to see what all the hubbub was about. all of the songs kind of sound the same, though i did like flesh without blood a lot. her voice is kind of obnoxious at times, and it's a little too "twee" for my tastes on tracks like belly of the beat and kill v maim (which tricked me with a cool intro that sounded like a sega genesis game but then devolved into perhaps the weakest track on the whole album). basically it's high-energy indie pop and if you're into that sort of thing then you'll probably dig it. otherwise, it's just ok. probably doesn't need to be 50 minutes, but whatever.
