I live in a three story apartment. Been here for a month and already there is drama. In the middle of the night my brother bursts into my room asking me if I "heard it" and i didn't. Next morning there are beer cans at the bottom of our shared hallway/stairs, there is some beer spilled over here and there.
Now there are signs on the walls that comes from the neighbor on the lowest level, it demands that whoever is responsible should clean it. The neighbor on the ground level put up these signs and isn't sure which neighbor did it (me/family on top level) or (the old woman on the middle level)
Anyway, I was shopping and i opened the shared door that leads to the stairs/hallway. The ground Level neighbor hears me and confronts me, interrogates me about if it was me who spilled the beer. That didn't go well since I'm drunk and holding beer in my hand.
So i decided it would be best if I just cleaned the damn thing. Then my family suddenly strongly objected to that and a heated discuss appeared about the situation.
So... Which side are you on, should I not just clean it since it appears anyway that I am responsible?

So like maybe some outsiders got in and had a party in the hallway and left trash.
Clean it. Simple and cuts out the drama~0~rama.
