It's literally coffee change, so don't bitch that I'm making non-existent "charges through the nose". That's more than likely nothing to you; the appropriate price for something I look back upon at this juncture as entirely comedic.
$1 is <60p in British money, and about worth as much in the cent-equivalent due to purchasing power parity entirely fucking the British consumer over. If it makes you feel better, I've effectively lost 40% of what you think you're "paying" to the ludicrous cost of living.
It's an entirely symbolic pricetag, for the sustainment of emotional hardship invested in this work at the height of my insanity.
