@OP

That's my weight also. I thought I was 180+ but I weighed myself today and was pleasantly surprised!

Is walking on the spot for 50 mins a day effective cardio. I don't like out as house.

I'm hovering around 166-168. Trying to drop to 155 or so.

Gained 12 and now have only 3 to go. I think I said 3 to go weeks ago. So the last three, are not so easily gone.

I'm at 235 lbs working on losing 10 to get back to 225. It's still technically more than what I should weigh for my height, but I have a large frame so too much smaller and I would end up looking sickly.

Anything you do that takes it down, is good. However do you have a plan that will keep it down? Normally I hold the line, yet this is the 2nd Time for me and the 12 pound gain. I know exactly what I did each time to get that poundage on, this time I swear to all those Gods of past, I will do much better this coming year end, which is always how I pick up poundage re holidays that start early and end on Chinese New Years or later.

Also, if you're walking on the spot, bring your knees up until they're at ninety degrees. It's more effective.

I used to weigh 135 pounds as a girl (I was still like a size 2 or 4) but now I weigh 115. I went down to 125 after a drinking binge left me throwing up dozens of times, and the last 10 from various drugs causing a loss of appetite. I'm still the exact same size too, I have no idea why I weigh 20 pounds less. I guess i had more muscle back then... I'm like 5'6"

So have you beaten the need for drugs and drinking binges?

Anonymous I replied with this 15 years ago, 16 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[^] [v] #88,006

I don't feel a need, just a desire. Binge drinking is not fun nor desirable though. I'm not doing that any time soon. Same with Molly, my mouth will never be the same and the comedown after snorting it all night was just not good.

Good for you. One can be attracted to all forms of the Devil and as you know the Devil expects to own you. So the desire may never go away. Just as long as you keep your brain in gear mostly very sober, you end up in control of your Devils.

I can tell you one upside I see in my work career - over the years I have hired a lot of former drug/alcohol abusers and I notice that they as a group are stronger as employees. Mastering those Devils end up as an advantage, except they may never see it that way.
