Topic: How incompatible is Windows 10 with a variety games?

I've been having issues with Cities Skylines both with and without the After Dark expansion pack. I'm still not sure if the problem lies with the game or the operating system. I have tried a fix for mods that Paradox recommends which is to launch the game with these options enabled -disableMods -noWorkshop which makes the vanilla game run fine, but without them the game takes too long to load up and even if I disable all of my subscribed to mods in the game it still loads shit up slowly. This is with the expansion pack too.

Now the game cannot even boot up for me because it goes to the loading screen and crashes. Is this due to Windows fucking 10? If so, it makes me want to downgrade to Windows 7 immediately.
