It seems pretty obvious to me that in a civilized society girls should not be forced to change in the same room as someone with a penis. It's also kind of weird that this needs to be clarified at all.
> How about all genders and sexes using a single open hole in the middle of a stark white, tiled room?
Why not?

Sometimes I like to imagine these scenes as ones from any teenage drama where the popular jock cheerleaders result to their usual bullying of any unpopular girl. Except in this instance the unpopular girl is a transgender girl which is unique for any teenage drama program.
Then commercial break occurs and the first ad is for an anti-bullying campaign and/or one for PFLAG.
This makes such articles like this seem silly.

The ancient Romans used to wipe their asses with a sponge on a stick. Public restrooms had what you might think of as "communal ass wipers", which were kept in a bucket in the corner (often soaking in vinegar to keep it "sanitary") that people were expected to rinse off for the next user. They would rinse it off in a channel of sea water that ran across the floor. Also, there weren't any toilet stalls. People would just shit right in front of each other, and it was considered totally normal. Actually, it was like a social activity. People would talk to each other about politics and shit.

Why not redesign locker rooms to give students privacy so they don't have to be nude in front of eachother?

I think single person stalls would be preferred by pretty much everybody, especially in a school

Have you ever been part of a sports team? It doesn't sound like it.

This is a god damn good question. Considering how there were always gay innuendo involving in school locker room showers it really surprises me that they never considered at least once redesigning it with privacy in mind.
I guess the world isn't entirely homophobic after all.

You don't have to be near trannies to not want your fricken classmates all looking at your junk. @635,606 (kook !!mCVqftDha)
It probably wouldn't matter as much at that point anyway, so long as the rooms are supervised. @635,613 (F)
Exactly. Everyone left their underwear on for a fucking reason there, and showers were only used by the brave.

Simple solution. Tranny does not want man junk. Girls can read the how to do simple penis and package removal.
Slice and dice to solve the problem.

There is a cheaper and more ethical solution.

That's just part of life. We can't just keep locking ourselves away. It's just a human body and we shouldn't be ashamed of it.

uh yeah but you shouldn't be forced into a situation where you'll get bullied for it either

You can get bullied at work but you can't expect your own office to avoid it.

Yeah, but I shouldn't be coerced into showing it all to my peers. It is stupid in America, especially when people wear swimsuits in saunas.

You don't show it to them, you just get changed. Showing implies you walk over and say "look at this"
If someone looks at you and bullying follows then that is a bullying issue separate from the getting changed issue.

You have options at work. HR will likely take action on a report bc they want to protect the company from liability/potential lawsuits. You also have the option to look for another job. You don't have the option to not go to gym class without repercussions.

You're right but the issue is then with the lack of protection and action against bullying within schools, not the changing rooms.
